🚨 Galammer Community: Stay Loud, Stay United🚨

No final decision has been made — the Board of Trustees votes on 3/26. Our voices still matter, and now is the time to show up for our school and other impacted school communities across the district. Solidarity matters. 🤝 

✨ How to take action:

• 📧 Participate in the email campaign - take two minutes to help amplify our concerns and send an updated message to key stakeholders. 

• 📣 Help flyer or spread the word to local businesses and community organizations - please check out this folder for resources.

• 🗣️ Want to speak during upcoming public comment sessions? When we stand together, our message is stronger. Please reach out so we can help align talking points by joining the Keep Galammer Together Whatsapp group.

• 🎵 Record your kids singing “Don't Move Hammer”. We're working on pulling together a music video featuring students. The lyrics and song can be found here. Please email videos to families4hms@gmail.com by Wednesday, 3/18.

🗓️ Show up:

• 🚶 March for Our Schools on 3/21 at 8:00am: We’d love to have a HUGE Galammer turnout for this event! We'll be marching from City Hall to the District Office - see the attached flyer for more details.

• 📚 Board of Education Special Session - 3/21 at 9:00am: Immediately following the march, a special study session has been scheduled at the District Office. A public comment session will be included.

• 🏫 Board of Trustees Meeting (Final Vote) – 3/26 at 6:00pm: Our presence matters - please consider attending in person at the District Office.
