ππ HMF THURSDAY UPDATE: SEPTEMBER IS OFF TO A GREAT START!
What a wonderful Back to School Night! We loved seeing so many Hammer families on campus, connecting with teachers, visiting classrooms, checking out the Book Fair, and learning more about what is ahead for our students this year.
It has been so exciting watching our new campus continue to feel more and more like Hammer’s home, and having so many of our families together is a huge part of that.
For anyone who missed the HMF presentation—or would simply like to look back through the information—we are sharing it here:

We are also attaching an Upcoming Events Guide with activities and important dates to keep on your radar over the next several months. There is a lot to look forward to at Hammer!

π§Ύ WE NEED TWO PARENT AUDIT VOLUNTEERS!
Here is a volunteer opportunity that isn’t quite as flashy as Fun Friday—but it is incredibly important to HMF and our ability to support Hammer.
We need TWO parent volunteers to participate in our annual PTA financial audit.
Why does this matter? Completing this audit is crucial to maintaining our ability to fundraise for our school. That fundraising is what allows HMF to help fund assemblies, field trips, arts programs, teacher support, community events, enrichment, and so many of the extras our students enjoy throughout the year.
The good news is that this is our third year completing the audit, and we have our systems down! Our treasurers will walk you through the process, provide everything you need, and guide you along the way. You do NOT need to be a financial expert!
If you can donate some time to this very important behind-the-scenes job, we really need you!
π§ Please email contact@hammerfoundation.org and let us know you’re interested. We’ll connect you with our treasurers and get you started.
Two volunteers. A little bit of your time. A really important impact on HMF. π

π JOIN US AT NEXT WEEK’S HMF MEETING!
Want to learn more about what HMF is working on, share an idea, or find a way to get involved? Come join us at our HMF meeting next week!
The meeting will be held IN PERSON at Hammer, and as always, ALL Hammer parents and guardians are welcome. You do not need to be an HMF Board member or regular volunteer to attend.
Our meetings are a great opportunity to hear what we’re working on, learn about upcoming events and programs, and better understand how HMF fundraising is being put to work for our students.

There are lots of ways to contribute to our school, and every little bit counts. Our families are what make Hammer such a special community. ππ
