πŸ’™πŸ’› HMF WEEKLY UPDATE: FALL FESTIVAL SUCCESS, BOOK-O-WEEN & GIVING BACK!

Happy Friday, Hammer families!

What an incredible week for our Hammer community! We’re still celebrating the success of last weekend’s Fall Festival, we’re getting ready for this morning’s Book-O-Ween parade, and we have some exciting community initiatives coming up as we head into the holiday season.

There is so much to be proud of at Hammer, and it all comes back to the amazing families who make our school community so special! πŸ’™πŸ’›

πŸŽƒπŸ¬ FALL FESTIVAL — OUR BIGGEST TRUNK-OR-TREAT YET!

WOW, HAMMER! WHAT AN AMAZING AFTERNOON!

Last Saturday’s Fall Festival was an incredible success, and we are thrilled to share that we had BY FAR our biggest Trunk-or-Treat event to date! πŸŽ‰

From the wonderfully decorated trunks and creative costumes to the carnival games, pumpkins, prizes, and activities, it was an afternoon filled with smiles, laughter, and Hammer community spirit.

Most importantly, it was wonderful to see so many of our families coming together and enjoying an afternoon at our new campus.

A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who made this event possible!

πŸ’™ To the families who decorated trunks and handed out treats

🎯 To the volunteers who ran carnival games and activities

πŸŽƒ To everyone who helped with donations, supplies, and equipment

πŸ™Œ To the parents who spent time setting up, cleaning up, and keeping everything running smoothly

πŸ’› And to every family who came out to celebrate with us!

Events like this take an enormous amount of planning and volunteer support, and they simply cannot happen without our parent community stepping up.

A special thank you to our HMF Events team for all the work that went into making this afternoon such a success!

This is exactly what we’re working to build at Hammer — a strong, connected community where our children can make wonderful memories together.

Thank you for making our first Fall Festival at our new campus one to remember! πŸŽƒπŸ’™πŸ’›

πŸ’™πŸ’› HMF ANNUAL APPEAL — LAUNCHING SOON!

If you enjoyed Fall Festival, you’re seeing firsthand what the Hammer Montessori Foundation helps make possible!

Our Annual Appeal will be launching soon, and this is one of the most important ways families can support the programs, activities, and experiences that make Hammer such a special place.

Community events like our Fall Festival and Trunk-or-Treat, our upcoming Hammer’s Got Talent show, and so many other enrichment opportunities are made possible through HMF fundraising and the generosity of our families.

These events don’t happen on their own, and they aren’t free to put on. They require both financial support and dedicated volunteers.

Our Annual Appeal helps provide the funding that allows HMF to continue supporting these experiences for our students and families.

We know that every family’s circumstances are different, and our goal is always to encourage participation at whatever level is comfortable.

When our community comes together, even small contributions add up to make a tremendous difference.

Please keep an eye out for more information about our Annual Appeal in the coming weeks!

Together, we can continue building the Hammer community we all love. πŸ’™πŸ’›

πŸ₯«β€οΈ COMING SOON: HAMMER COMMUNITY FOOD & SUPPLIES DRIVE

As we head into the holiday season, we also want to take a moment to recognize that many families in our community are facing increasing financial pressures.

With the rising cost of groceries, housing, and everyday necessities, food insecurity and access to basic household supplies are very real challenges for many families.

We want Hammer to be a community that looks out for one another.

In the coming weeks, we will be launching a Hammer Community Food & Supplies Drive that will continue through the holiday season.

We’ll be asking families who are able to contribute to donate:

πŸ₯« Nonperishable food items

🍝 Pantry staples and shelf-stable groceries

🧻 Household necessities and supplies

🧼 Personal care and hygiene items

These donations will be made available to anyone in our Hammer community who needs them.

Our goal is simple: Neighbors helping neighbors. Families supporting families.

Whether you are in a position to give or could use a little extra support this holiday season, we want you to know that you are part of a community that cares.

We’ll share more information soon about how to donate, what items are most needed, and how families can access supplies.

Please keep an eye out for updates and help us make this a meaningful effort for our entire Hammer community. ❀️

πŸ’™πŸ’› THANK YOU FOR MAKING HAMMER SPECIAL!

Last weekend was such a wonderful reminder of what makes our school community so special.

It’s not just the events themselves. It’s the parents who volunteer, the families who participate, the people who contribute what they can, and the way our community comes together to create something meaningful for our children.

As we look toward our Annual Appeal and our upcoming community food drive, I hope we can carry that same spirit of generosity and connection into the holiday season.

Whether you’re giving your time, contributing financially, sharing resources, or simply showing kindness to another Hammer family, you are making a difference.

Thank you for being part of this wonderful community!

HAMMER STRONG — WE’RE BETTER TOGETHER! πŸ’™πŸ’›
