1) 📚 Support the Read-a-thon! 📚

The Hammer Montessori Foundation (HMF) is excited to champion Mr. Bingham's 99Pledges school-wide Read-a-Thon! While this fundraiser doesn't directly support HMF, 100% of the proceeds go straight toward funding our students' 5th-grade science camp, with every dollar raised rolling over year after year for your child's grade level. 🔭🔬🧪

We have until October 9 to raise the remaining $20,000 to reach our school-wide goal and see Mr. Bingham dye his beard orange! Please consider sponsoring your reader today and encouraging daily reading at home to help send our students on an unforgettable outdoor learning experience.

2) 🌱 HAMMER VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! 🌱

Have a little extra time in your day? We’re looking for San José Unified Approved Volunteers to help support our students and staff during Morning Valet and 2nd Recess!

🚗 Morning Valet Support
Monday–Friday | 8:45–9:05 AM
Help at either of our two valet locations to welcome students, keep drop-off moving smoothly, and start the morning with a friendly Hammer hello!

☀️ 2nd Recess Support
Monday–Friday | 1:30–2:20 PM
Spend an hour helping provide an extra set of eyes and hands while our students play, connect, and recharge.
