👯 BUDDY SPIRIT DAY — TOMORROW, SEPTEMBER 18!
Tomorrow is Buddy Spirit Day: Dress Like a Staff Member or Friend!
Students are encouraged to dress like a favorite Hammer staff member, coordinate with a friend, or simply enjoy a FREE DRESS DAY!
Teacher-inspired outfits, matching buddies, Hammer staff look-alikes — we are looking forward to seeing all of the creativity around campus tomorrow!
And don't forget, tomorrow is also our Mark Griffiths Assembly, another HMF-funded enrichment experience for our students. 🎉

🌱 HELP US GROW A HAMMER GARDEN!
One of the exciting things about having our new Hammer campus is the opportunity to make the space our own — and we would love to create a Hammer Garden! 🌻🥕🌿
HMF has funds set aside to help make a garden happen, but what we need now are the people to bring it to life!
We are looking for one or two parent/guardian leads, along with several other interested families, to form a new Hammer Garden Committee. You absolutely do not need to be a master gardener — just someone excited about creating something wonderful for our students and willing to help.
The committee's first task will be to work with Mr. Bingham to finalize a location for the garden on our new campus. From there, the fun begins: developing a plan, deciding what we'd like to grow, figuring out what supplies are needed, getting our hands dirty, and ultimately getting things planted!
HMF is happy to provide the funding and support, but we don't have the bandwidth to lead the committee ourselves. This needs to be a parent-led project, and we know there are some green thumbs — or enthusiastic future green thumbs — hiding in our Hammer community. 🌱
We need:
🌻 1–2 Parent Leads willing to help coordinate the committee
🌱 Several Parent/Guardian Volunteers interested in planning, planting, maintaining, organizing, or simply lending a hand

Whether you're an experienced gardener or someone who just thinks our kids deserve a great space to dig in the dirt and watch things grow, we'd love to have you involved.

We have official Hammer Montessori short- and long-sleeve shirts in youth and adult sizes, along with a limited supply of Hammer Strong T-shirts.
Our official Hammer shirts are approved as part of the school uniform, so they're an easy way to stock the closet while supporting HMF at the same time.
