Annual Appeal – We Need You!

Attention Hammer families! Our Annual Appeal is at 39% of our goal, and we need your support to ensure that our students continue to benefit from vital programs and resources. Assemblies, field trips, Starting Arts, teacher supplies, the garden, playground equipment, and so much more depend on these funds. Without YOUR contribution, we won't be able to sustain these opportunities for our students.  We will be sending envelopes home ahead of giving Tuesday to facilitate any cash or check donations brought into the school.

The Annual Appeal is open until December 31, 2024. Remember, the Hammer Montessori Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, so corporate matching is allowed! If your employer offers corporate matching, this is a fantastic way to double your impact.

Our Annual Appeal in the fall and the Walk-a-Thon in the spring are our two primary fundraisers. Please help us give Hammer students the best possible school experience!

Annual School Picture Day is Here!

Picture day has arrived! Be sure to check your kids’ backpacks for the picture day order forms.

These photos will be featured in the school yearbook, so please ensure your child wears their school uniform collared shirts or dresses in one of the three approved colors.

Winter Bazaar Updates

Hello Hammer Families,

Mark your calendars for the Annual Winter Bazaar on Thursday, December 5, 2024, from 6 PM to 8 PM! This festive event will feature:

• Kids Craft Sale: Hammer Montessori students can sign up to sell or teach crafts they’ve created themselves. Adults may not make the crafts for sale.
• Bake Sale: Families are encouraged to donate baked goods to support the event.

Updated Information (as of 11/18/24):

• Vendor Sign-Ups: Students interested in being a craft vendor can sign up using the link below.
• Bake Sale Donations: We still need more baked goods! Items can be store-bought or homemade. Please label donations with the type of item and dietary notes (nut-free, dairy-free, vegan, etc.). Baked items must be delivered to the school by 5 PM on event day.
• Volunteer Opportunities: Help is needed for bake sale setup. Check out committee jobs for both the Kids Craft Sale and Bake Sale at the link below.

Monthly HMF Meeting – Join Us!

Our Monthly Hammer Montessori Foundation Meeting took place this past Tuesday, and we discussed key updates, including:

• Confirmation of our tax filings.
• Progress on new bylaws.
• Updates on field trips and school events.

We invite all parents to attend and get involved! Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of every month, from 6:30–8:00 PM, in the school library.

Hammer Apparel Sales – Get Your Neon Tie-Dye!

Looking for Hammer apparel? Neon tie-dye shirts and other items are back! Apparel orders are distributed every Friday if placed by Thursday at 11:59 PM. Orders placed after that time will be delivered the following week.

How to Order:

• Order online using the sales sheet.
• Apparel will be sent home with your youngest child via their classroom teacher.

Weekly sales will continue until May 23, 2025.
