Subject: Annual Appeal Update – We Still Need Your Support!
Thanks to your incredible generosity, we are thrilled to share that we’ve reached 63% of our Annual Appeal goal with 18 days left to go!
Your support is crucial in funding essential programs like assemblies, field trips, Starting Arts, teacher supplies, the garden, playground equipment, and so much more. These opportunities are only possible because of you!
Envelopes were sent home on Giving Tuesday have come back with $1300 worth of donations. Please get those in by the end of next week if you plan on doing a cash or check donations. As we approach the end of the appeal, we’ll also include totals from corporate matching donations as they are approved and sent to us.
The Annual Appeal is open until December 31, 2024. Remember, the Hammer Montessori Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and corporate matching is a wonderful way to amplify your impact!

Girls on the Run
Girls on the Run is returning to Hammer for the 4th year in a row!
We have 2 parent and 2 teacher coaches this season. Registration opened Saturday, December 7. The program is open to 3rd to 5th grade girls (or 2nd grade girls with a parent coach!), and will meet Monday and Wednesday after school beginning March 3rd, concluding with the 5K on May 17th.

Mr. Grigg’s Movie Nights
Looking for an easy way to keep your kids entertained after school while supporting a great cause? Join us for Mr. Grigg’s After School Movie Nights—also known as cheap babysitting!
When: Wednesday, December 18, from 3:05 PM to 5:00 PM
Where: Room 212, Hammer Montessori
Why: Proceeds go toward Science Camp
Cost:
- 1 student = $20
- 2 students = $40
- 3 students = $50
Larger donations are always appreciated!

Attendance is limited to 25 students per movie, so reserve your spot soon! For younger students (K-2), a 5th-grade helper will escort them upstairs directly from their classroom.

Hammer Apparel Sales – Get Your Neon Tie-Dye!
Looking for Hammer apparel? Neon tie-dye shirts and other items are back! Apparel orders are distributed every Friday if placed by Thursday at 11:59 PM. Orders placed after that time will be delivered the following week.
How to Order:
- Order online using the sales sheet.
- Apparel will be sent home with your youngest child via their classroom teacher.
Weekly sales will continue until May 23, 2025.

Monthly HMF Meeting – Join Us!
We invite all parents to attend and get involved! Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of every month, from 6:30–8:00 PM, in the school library.
