Postcard Project Completed
We’re excited to share a special video that brings the Henry Hammer Day postcards to life! This heartfelt project, organized and funded by the Hammer Montessori Foundation, beautifully captures the messages of appreciation for Henry, Betsy, and the impact of Hammer Elementary.

Starting Arts Performances – March 18 & 19, 2:20 - 3:00 PM
Students will showcase songs they’ve been practicing through the Starting Arts program. Families and friends are welcome to attend! Special thanks to HMF and the Hammer Community for funding this program.

Galammer Choir & Drama – March 18
- Choir Performance: 3:45 - 4:15 PM
- Drama Performance: 4:15 - 5:15 PM
Galammer After-School Choir (Kinder - 2nd Grade) – March 25 - May 20
Galarza and Hammer are launching a free, joint choir for Kinder-2nd grade students, supervised by Starting Arts. Sessions will be held Tuesdays from 3:05 - 4:15 PM, with a final performance on May 20. Space is limited to 22 students. Sign up [here] before spots fill up!

Shamrock Dance – March 14
Get ready to dance! 3rd, 4th, and 5th-grade students are invited to the Galammer Shamrock Dance on Friday, March 14, from 1:15 - 3:00 PM. Tickets are $10 and include admission, a slice of pizza, and a soda. Tickets can be purchased in the office from Ms. Mariza (majuarez@sjusd.org). St. Patrick’s Day – March 17
Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in style! Students are encouraged to wear green on Monday, March 17, in honor of the holiday. Plus, it’s a free dress day, so show your festive spirit however you’d like. Let’s make the school shine with shades of green!
