🎉 Free Dress Day is TOMORROW (Friday, October 11)

Students are invited to come to school in free dress tomorrow! This is a chance for everyone to show off their personal style and have a little fun while staying school-appropriate.

📣 1. Annual Appeal Launch — Help Us Keep Hammer Strong!

We are thrilled to officially launch our Annual Appeal—our largest fundraiser of the year!
This campaign fuels everything from the big projects like new water fountains to the small-but-mighty programs like Project Cornerstone books. In recent years, your generosity has helped fund:

• Starting Arts music, drama, and dance for every student

• Field trip transportation

• Teacher professional development

• Classroom Montessori materials

• Assemblies, activities, and community events like Fall Festival & Walk-a-Thon

• Playground & recess equipment

• The beautiful Galammer Garden

This is how we keep Montessori strong in public education—and we can’t do it without YOU.

🎯 Our goal is $250 per child, but any amount helps.
🎁 Donations are tax deductible and eligible for employer matching.

✂️ 2. Craft Donation Deadline EXTENDED!

We’re building a massive Craft Station for the Fall Festival, and we still need your help to stock the tables!
If you’ve got leftover supplies, full containers, or odd bits and pieces—think pipe cleaners, washi tape, feathers, stickers, glitter, pom-poms, yarn, ribbon, etc.—please donate!

🎃 3. Fall Festival & Trunk-or-Treat is Almost Here!

Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 25 from 1–3 PM — our annual Fall Festival & Trunk-or-Treat is going to be fa-BOO-lous!

🦇 Decorate a trunk or table and hand out treats
🎨 Enjoy the chalk art zone, craft table, scavenger hunt, games & more
📸 Snap pics at the pumpkin patch photo booth
🏆 Enter contests for best-decorated trunk, best costume, & best family theme
🚫 No pets allowed please

🎬 4. Science Camp Fundraiser: Movie Nights with Mr. Griggs!

Support our 5th graders and enjoy an afternoon movie in Mr. Griggs’ room. Limited to 25 students per showing. Lower-grade students will be escorted to and from the classroom.

🎟️ $20 per student unless otherwise noted
🍕 Pizza included for Wicked showing!
