What a strong and inspiring start to the year! We have so much good news to share—made possible by the generosity, care, and commitment of our Hammer community. 💙
💛 Annual Appeal Success: $56,000 Raised!
We are thrilled (and incredibly grateful) to share that the HMF Annual Appeal raised $56,000 for our school! These funds ensure that our programs remain fully funded and continue to support our teachers, classrooms, and students throughout the year.
A heartfelt thank you to every parent who donated and to our corporate match donors who helped stretch those gifts even further. Your generosity has a direct, meaningful impact on the daily experience of our students—and we truly could not do this work without you. 🙏✨
🌿 A Special Thank You: Garden Fence Project Completed
We would like to extend a very special thank you to an anonymous donor who fully funded the new garden fence. This was a project the HMF couldn’t fit into this year’s budget—but this donor stepped up, and with the help of a generous corporate match, made it happen.
Because of this incredible gift, our garden space is now safer and more functional for students. We are so lucky to have parents who are passionate about making Hammer shine and who invest so thoughtfully in our school community. 💚🌱
🏫 School Tours: A Great Start & Volunteers Still Needed!
Our first school tour was a great success—thank you to the parent volunteers who helped welcome prospective families and share why Hammer is such a special place to learn.
If you know families who may be interested in Hammer Montessori, please help spread the word! We still have two more school tours scheduled, and we need approved volunteers to help lead them:

📝 HMF Meeting Update & What’s Ahead
We held our monthly HMF meeting, and we’re happy to report that the parent volunteers who assisted with the audit confirmed that everything looks great and fully balanced. Their careful work keeps our SCO in good standing and allows us to continue supporting the school—thank you! 💼✅

• Began planning for the Walk-a-Thon 🚶♀️🎉
• Set plans for another Teacher Potluck on February 13
Please keep an eye out for upcoming volunteer sign-ups to bring food and help us show our teachers some extra love around Valentine’s Day. 💕🍲
