We are having Spring Hoover Walk and Roll next week!
Dates: Monday, April 15th - Friday, April 19th
Prizes for Students:

  • On Friday 4/19, for students who participate at Platinum/Gold/Silver-level on any day of the week, they will receive a Walk and Roll prize (while supply lasts).
  • Students who come by bus also receive the prize.
  • Students who arrive at the driving drop-off lane will also receive an encouragement prize to promote awareness.

Walk and Roll Options:

  • Platinum level: Walk and Roll to School from Home. Good exercise!
  • Gold level: Drive to Cubberley Community Center and Walk to School. Reduces traffic congestion around the school!
  • Silver level: Drive to School Parking Lot and Walk Your Kids to School. Reduces traffic in the drop-off lane!

Green Tip: Celebrate Earth-friendly Activities All Month Long

Calling All Poets 
Turn your observations of the world and your reflections on all its wonders into poems. Palo Alto Students Foundation, a PTAC Partner, is calling all poets, youth and adults, to write what's on their mind. The groups are preschool through 6th grade; 7th grade through 12th grade; and adults. The poetry contest is open to everyone and free to enter. Winners in each age group will receive a gift card and a certificate. Please submit your entries to poetry@paloaltostudents.org. Deadline: May 31, 2024

Paly SciOly Science and Engineering Summer Camp
When: Monday - Friday, July 29th - August 2nd, 9 AM to 12 PM or 1 PM to 4 PM
Where: Palo Alto High School (50 Embarcadero Rd)
Palo Alto High School's regional-championship winning Science Olympiad team is running its 11th annual Science and Engineering Summer Camp for middle schoolers this summer, featuring lab demonstrations and hands-on activities including crime scene analysis, dissections, engineering projects, and more! Registration is open for any rising 6th through 9th graders interested in learning more about science! It's Screens or Screams! Toddler Tips for Exhausted Parents
