Dear Hoover Families,

In honor of Earth Week, the Hoover Green Team is hosting the KatKid Adventure “Flip the Switch” Eco-Challenge from Friday, 4/19 - Friday, 4/26. 

We need volunteers to help us with data entry! 

Do you have some time on the mornings of Tuesday, 4/23, Thursday, 4/25, and Friday, 4/26 to help?

Kids will attend a kick-off assembly this Friday with KatKid, a local non-profit, to learn about how to save electricity each time you “Flip the switch”! The next week they will turn in a slip of paper to their classroom each morning with the number of times they “flipped the switch” at home. The goal is for Hoover to get 3,000 flips! 

We need 1 parent from each grade level to:

-Collect the tally sheets from each classroom of their grade level on 3 mornings

-Enter them into a school wide spreadsheet (you are able to take the slips with you to enter at home)

If you can do all 3 days for your grade level- awesome! If you can only do it one morning you can still sign up! We just need all three dates filled for each grade level.

We won’t be able to run this challenge without you. There will be prizes for the top classrooms and students!
