All Holmes students K-5th are invited to enter their drawings for the Yearbook Cover Art Contest! The winner will have their art displayed on the front cover of the 2025-2026 yearbook. All entries will be displayed at school and the winners will be decided by our staff judges.

Submit Art

1 - 8.5 in x 11 in. paper, any medium (ex. paint, crayon, pencil, marker, paper) 2- Keep images and words at least ~1 inch from borders (background colors ok to edge)
3 - Vertical orientation 

All Entries Must Include

1 - School name: Holmes Elementary
2- School year: 2025-2026
3- Student’s name and teacher’s name on the back of your page
**KEEP SCHOOL NAME AND YEAR AT LEAST ONE INCH FROM EDGES OF PAGE

Other rules:

One entry per student
Entries due to teachers by MARCH 13TH
***PLEASE no parent participation - 100% student created art only
***PLEASE no AI generated designs (even if they are put on paper by your student by hand)

Your design can be anything you’d like!! Get creative!! You don’t have to include, but can consider:

School mascot: hawk
Motto: "There's No Place Like Holmes!"
What represents our awesome school to you? Our community? What makes Holmes special?

Use lots of color, try not to have a lot of blank white space if any. Examples of student created yearbook covers on page 2 of attached document. Example of 1 inch borders on page 3 of attached document.
