Hi, this is a social group set up for families who are connected to active-duty, Guard, Reserve and veterans. The intent is to provide a welcoming environment within the broader Holmes community. We recognize that San Diego is a large military town and there are many challenges that military families may face, we are here to assist in any way we can. Jessica Huerta is lead and has over 19 years of military service. She also studies military sociology, sociology of the family, gender, and organizations. She is well connected in San Diego's veteran community and the military bases' liaison for community and schools. In addition to providing support, we see this space as the ability for families to connect, make friends, have fun, and create memories. Join us!
