*The information below can also be found in Mr. Saipe’s Sunday email regarding pick up and drop off procedures:
DESIGNATED GRADE LEVEL GATES
TK/Kindergarten Families.
Please access campus through the TK/Kindergarten Gate and plan to escort your children to and from the classroom each day. We encourage you to walk to school or arrive early to find parking in the neighborhood. Please do not park and leave your car unattended in the 3 min. loading zone on Mt. Ararat Dr.
Grades 1 and 2 Families:
Please access campus through the designated gate located near the east end of the SAGE garden on Mt. Ararat Dr. Please choose to walk to school, park in the neighborhood, or use the 3 min. loading zone to drop-off and pick-up students.
Grades 3-5 Families:
Please access campus through the main office gate and walk directly to your classrooms. Parents, please consider using the roundabout at drop-off and pick-up. We also have a bike rack located inside campus on Mt. Brundage Ave.
NEW ROUNDABOUT PROCEDURES
The roundabout is part of the staff parking lot, which is the only parking area for staff during school hours.
Parents and visitors may only use this lot after the school bell when staff parking needs are reduced.
Morning Drop-Off:
Enter the roundabout going south on Mt. Brundage Ave. Access will not be permitted going north on Mt. Brundage
Follow directions from the supervision staff on the sidewalk of the parking lot entrance. We will fill up the designated drop-off lane and then clear it before allowing more vehicles to enter.
Pull forward as far as possible along the curb before stopping.
Students should exit on the passenger (curb) side only.
Have your child’s backpack next to them so that they can exit the car quickly. Do not place materials in the trunk.
Remain in your vehicle at all times—staff will assist younger students if needed.
After drop-off, continue forward and exit the roundabout promptly.
Right turn only on Mt. Brundage Ave.
Afternoon Pick-up:
Enter the roundabout going south on Mt. Brundage Ave. Access will not be permitted going north on Mt. Brundage.
Students will wait for parents/guardians in the congregation area in front of the main office.
Pull forward to the loading zone and wait until your child walks to your car.
Stay in your vehicle—staff will help students enter safely.
Once children are safely in the vehicle, parents should exit the designated pick-up curb lane and use the passing lane to leave campus.
We appreciate your cooperation as we implement these changes to create a safer, more efficient system for everyone.
