Oversee and coordinate the Executive Board; preside at PTA Board and PTA Association Meetings; review and sign all contracts; serve as the official contact, communicator, and representative of PTA; work with PTA leaders to connect families, school and community.

Recording Secretary Signed Up: 1 / 1

Create PTA Board meeting agendas and PTA Association meeting agendas; record meeting minutes; post finalized meeting minutes to members.

Executive Vice President Signed Up: 1 / 1

Work as the primary aide to the president; assist with logistics and communication; perform the president’s duties in his/her absence.

Treasurer Signed Up: 1 / 1

Manage PTA finances; prepare monthly reports; distribute funding. Work closely with the President.

Vice President of Ways & Means Signed Up: 1 / 1

Coordinates Fall Fundraiser and Jog-A-Thon. Works closely with Volunteers Chair & Assistant and Events Chair & Assistant.

Vice President of Membership Signed Up: 1 / 1

Coordinate annual PTA Association Membership campaign; maintain current membership list.

Vice President of Programs Signed Up: 1 / 1

Coordinate on-campus events including: Red Ribbon Week; Walk & Roll to School Parade; Bike Rodeo; Kindness Week; assemblies, etc. Works closely with Volunteers Chair & Assistant.

Vice President of Communications Signed Up: 1 / 1

Coordinate print and electronic media communication; maintain PTA emails.

Financial Secretary Signed Up: 1 / 1

Support the Treasurer with fiscal matters; make bank deposits.

Historian Signed Up: 1 / 1

Archive PTA activities; submit Historian’s Report of volunteer hours annually to the PTA Council.

Parliamentarian Signed Up: 1 / 1

Uphold Robert's Rules of Order at meetings; monitor by-laws; convene Nominating Committee.

Appreciation Chairs Signed Up: 2 / 2

Staff: Coordinate all staff appreciation: Welcome Back Week, Teacher Appreciation Week, etc. Student: Coordinate all student appreciation: Recognition Assemblies, "Caught Ya's" program, etc.

Oversee Campus Beautification events and the Sage Garden project.

Classroom Liaison Chair Signed Up: 1 / 1

Facilitate communication about school and PTA events with classroom lead parents.

Coordinates on-going fundraising efforts: Dining for Dollars, Goodwill, eWaste, etc.

Coordinate "Arts Attack" program: lead volunteers, manage inventory, order supplies, and communicate with teachers.

Review PTA financial reports and submit findings bi-annually.

Book Fair Chair & Assistant Signed Up: 2 / 2

Coordinate Book Fairs in fall and spring: set up/tear down, coordinates volunteers, liaison with Scholastic Books.

Events Chair & Assistant Signed Up: 2 / 2

Coordinate all events outside of school hours, including Fall Festival, Movie Nights, etc.

Spirit Wear Chair & Assistant Signed Up: 2 / 2

Coordinate production, sales, and promotion of Holmes Spirit Wear.

Sponsorship/Grants Chair Signed Up: 1 / 1

Research and apply for available grants; coordinate and communicate with sponsors.

Volunteers Chair & Assistant Signed Up: 2 / 2

Promote and maintain a list of parent/care givers/community volunteers available to help during school events and PTA events; communicate to people on the list about upcoming events; work closely with Events Chair & Assistant, VP of Programs, and VP of Ways & Means.
