5th Grade Promotion Yearbook – Family Participation Guide

Our 5th graders are graduating, and the PTSA is creating a special yearbook to celebrate the Hugo Reid Elementary School Class of 2026!

We need help from families and students to make this keepsake fun, meaningful, and full of memories. Please review the opportunities below and participate where you can!

Yearbook Cover Contest (For 5th Grade Students only)

All 5th graders are invited to submit artwork for the official yearbook cover!

How to Enter

Create your design on 8.5 x 11 paper (portrait orientation)
Artwork must include:
- Hugo Reid Elementary School
- “Class of 2026”
Turn in artwork to Ms. McGrath in Room 103

Deadline: March 27, 2026

One winning design will be selected and featured on the front cover of the yearbook! Other designs may be selected for other pages.

Submit a Baby Photo

We are collecting baby photos of each 5th grader for a special section of the yearbook.

Photo Guidelines

Age: 6–18 months old
File name must follow this format:
firstname.lastname.jpeg

Example:
Rocky.Raccoon.jpeg

Help us fill the yearbook with memories from past school years!

Families will receive a DropBox link to upload photos from:

TK / Kindergarten
1st Grade
2nd Grade
3rd Grade
4th Grade
5th Grade events

Photo Requirements
Must include at least 2 students
Must be at school or a school-sponsored event (field trips, Trunk or Treat, class activities, etc.)

Individual portraits will not be used
Photos from non-school events will not be used

Celebrate Your Graduate with a Yearbook Ad (Optional)

Families can purchase a congratulatory ad in the back of the yearbook!

You can design your own message and photos using our easy online design tool provided by our yearbook vendor.

½ Page ($75)
Full Page ($100)

This is a wonderful way to share a message of love and congratulations with your graduate!
