Dear PS 124 Families,

We’re excited to share a wonderful opportunity from White Bird Summer Theater for your incoming Pre-K and Kindergarten students!

First Flight is a completely FREE, full-day summer theater and arts program designed especially for rising Pre-K and Kindergarten children. The program provides engaging, creative childcare while introducing little ones to puppetry, storytelling, music, movement, and more—all in a supportive and joyful environment.

This initiative is especially geared toward low-income families living in District 39 and builds on White Bird's 30-year legacy of providing Brooklyn families with nurturing spaces for creative expression.

Program Details:
Location: Prospect Park Picnic House
Dates: August 4–15 (Monday–Friday)
Time: 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Optional After Care: 3:00 – 6:00 PM
Cost: Completely FREE!
Eligibility: Open to low-income families residing in District 39
