Being a parent is the hardest and the most important job you will ever have in your life. It is a job a person is never fully prepared for, nor can accomplish entirely alone. Parents need support from each other. By joining this group, you develop genuine connections with other caring parents. Share your insights. Ask questions. Foster competent parenting, relationship development, and family management skills.

A place where people can ask for things they need. Who knows, someone in our community might just have it-- FOR FREE! A place to share information about community resources, such as food pantries, clothing swaps, and afterschool programs. And a place to connect people who have stuff they'd like to donate to those who may need it. Please do not sell things here for money. We pay in gratitude and minimizing waste in this world while helping our P.S. 124 Family.

According to the DOE website, the P.S. 124 student body is only 6% Black. This is cozy space where we, Black Moms and Dads, can share resources, create community and support one another to ensure that P.S. 124 is an inclusive, fair and equitable school for our kids.
