South Families!

We are excited to be gearing up for Heroes Day (formerly Fathers, Friends & Family Day). This event has been a long tradition our students look forward to every year. Students have the chance to invite a special friend or family member (their Hero) to spend time at school and in the classroom assisting with projects and activities. This day ties in with "Treats for Troops" service learning where participants help students bag leftover Halloween candy and write letters to send to service members (our Heroes) deployed abroad. In the past, the day has started with car door opening at drop-off, and also included lunchtime field activities. Volunteers are needed to lead the charge and join the fun so please sign up!
