I want to share an update following this morning’s meeting between Superintendent Carry Chan and members of our School Leadership Team and PTA Executive Board.

Carry shared that the district will move forward with the C-30 process, the formal process for appointing a principal, rather than appointing an interim acting principal. It involves a committee composed of parents, teachers, and union representatives who interview candidates and provide recommendations to the superintendent, who makes the final appointment.

Carry emphasized that she is committed to gathering meaningful input from all stakeholders as part of this process.  To help inform this work, we invite families to share what they value about TNS and the qualities and attributes they consider important in the next principal of our school.
