This week is short and we hope that everyone is able to get some special Spring Break time while the kids are off from school. Two main things to draw your attention to as we head off for break–

1. The AUCTION is our largest fundraiser of the year. Historically, we’ve raised over 20K. To do this, WE NEED YOUR HELP. Malia, Brooke and James are currently doing all the heavy lifting and we need more people to: solicit donations, upload donations into the online platform, volunteer for day of party set-up and clean-up, email auction winners and help deliver items, etc. If you have wanted to volunteer this year and have not yet had a chance, this is the perfect time to step up! SAVE THE DATE for the Annual TNS Spring Fling. May 7th 5-7:30PM @ The Last Resort Cocktail Lounge. Close out the auction with our biggest party of the season!

2. PTA General Meeting April 14th. This meeting will be budget focused. If you have not yet attended a PTA meeting this year, come on down! This will be an important moment to understand more about how great TNS things like Studio in a School, K-1 TAs and Camp and Field Trip subsidies are funded. Looking ahead to May: we are looking for parents to join the PTA Executive Board for the 26-27 School Year! TNS depends on funding from the PTA and PTA exec positions are all in service of keeping the PTA solvent–the more folks are active on the exec board, the healthier the PTA is! Without Presidents, Secretaries and Treasurers, the PTA cannot form. Positions open for: Co-President (2); Co-Secretary (2); Co-Class Parent Liaison (2); Co-Treasurer (1); VP Fundraising and Community Building (1)
- 3rd, 4th, and 5th-grade families, if you would like to opt your child out of state testing, please let Dyanthe know by completing this opt-out form.
