Has your student made a cool piece of art this year? Enter their work in the art show! 

The Walnut Acres Art Show is Thursday, May 15th. This is a celebrated event showcasing artwork from all grades at Walnut Acres. It's free, non-fundraising, and non-competitive - just beautiful art made by the students!

For this event, the MUR will be transformed into a Modern Art Gallery where each class will be represented with artwork made during art class with Mrs. Kyono. In addition, we will be displaying individual submissions by any student who wishes to participate. Drawing, sculpture, painting, fiber art, mixed media, computer animation, collage, etc. - all art is welcome!

Students will tour the "museum" with their classes during school hours. That evening, parents, family, and friends are invited to attend the artists reception from 6-8pm in the MUR. All artwork will be returned to the students. 

We encourage every student to participate. To submit an individual entry, please read the Art Show Student Guidelines then complete the online entry form. And please sign up to volunteer at the art show as well!
