The Walnut Acres Art Walk fundraiser is coming to The Orchards (Safeway/Crunch shopping plaza), and we need a few volunteers to make this NEW event a success! 

Please consider signing up for one of the following tasks: 

Installation: Mon., 11/18: We need help hanging our student artwork in merchant windows at The Orchards shopping center.

Art Removal: Thurs., 12/19: Helpers needed at The Orchards plaza to carefully take down artwork so we can return it safely to our students.

BONUS: All volunteers will receive a special gift from The Orchards! (For every 3-hour shift, volunteers get a gift. Grab a 6-hour shift, and you’ll receive a second gift! )

Hint: They’re great enough to re-gift for the holidays or to barter with your kids! 😉

What is the Art Walk ? It’s a FREE and fun opportunity to celebrate our community, inspire pride in our students’ work, & raise money for our school!

On Wednesday, 12/4, from 5pm to 8pm:

• Stroll the exhibit with work from every WAE classroom
• Stop in select storefronts to collect FREE goodies 
• Take home balloon art from a professional twister
• Groove to tunes & strike a pose with your fave li’l artist(s) on the red carpet
• Shop & Dine at the participating retailers & restaurants donating a generous portion of their proceeds directly back to our school!

The Orchards will showcase art from our school in merchant windows during the holiday season for all to enjoy. Our 12/4 fundraising event night will be just for our school!
