Final reminder to check out our awesome Conference Week camps!

We're pleased to confirm that all 3 camps have reached their minimum enrollment and will be proceeding. 

We're also extending sign-ups so everyone has time to make selections this long weekend. The final sign up deadline for all camp options is end of day Monday, October 27th. There will not be further extensions after this date.

These camps provide enrichment during the two week period (Nov 3-14) where school ends early so that teachers can meet with parents and caregivers. (Note: there is no school on Veteran’s Day (11/11), so no camps will be held that day.)

We’re pleased to offer three camps to cover a wide range of interests: 
1. Premier Multi-Sports Camp
2. CUYT Musical Theatre Camp
3. Dance Camp

Lastly, during Conference Weeks, all Fall after-school enrichment session classes will either be held on an earlier schedule or not held at all. Check with your instructor(s) if you need clarification.

Multi Sports Camp 

Premier 1on1 Sports is excited to offer our fun Conference Week Camps this fall at Walnut Acres. We have a conference week camp running from 12:50-3:50 pm. 

Premier 1on1 Sports provides a multitude of camps throughout the year. Premier 1on1 Sports in conjunction with the Walnut Acres PFC will be offering a multi sports conference week camp. Skilled instructors will conduct a 3-hour camp daily where students will participate in various sports, such as basketball, soccer, flag football, baseball, along with many other sports. All our camps provide experienced instructors who bring valuable knowledge and youthful enthusiasm to all sports. 

Premier 1on1 Sports is dedicated to the betterment of players of all ages. Please make sure your camper has a water bottle and pack an extra snack for our camp.

Sessions: 

  • Week 1: November 3rd - 7th from 12:50 pm - 3:50 pm (3 hours daily) 

  • Week 2: November 10th - November 14th from 12:50 pm - 3:50 pm (No Camp 11/11, 3 hours daily)

Eligible grades: TK, Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th

Location: Grass Field next to Blacktop

Total Cost:

  • Week 1: $250

  • Week 2: $200

  • Single Day Option: $70/ day

The CUYT (Curtains Up Youth Theatre) Showcase Camp 

During the two weeks that school gets out early for conferences, this workshop will be a great place for our 4th and 5th grade students to have fun while learning to dance and sing in big numbers as well as smaller groups. Daily training in voice and dance will culminate in a showcase on the last day of class to share with family and friends the growth that can happen in 9 days of rehearsal. Led by two recent Musical Theatre BFA graduates (Griffin and Catherine), this is a great opportunity for students to work on their confidence as well as their dance, vocal and audition skills in preparation for CUYT's Full-Scale Winter Musical - The Jungle Book. (Note: you do not need to sign up for The Jungle Book in January to participate in this showcase.)

The Showcase will be on the last day (November 14) at 4:00 pm.

Dance Camp 

Dance Camp is being offered during the November conference weeks!  Please join dance coach, Megan Burton, for any of the 6 after school DANCE CAMP classes at Walnut Acres Elementary School. Choose all 6 days or pick and choose any of the Monday, Thursday, or Friday classes. Each class will include a warm up, stretching and dance practice.  Students will also have time for a craft!  Each student will earn a ribbon on their last day attending camp.  Let's dance!

  • Dates: November 3, 6, 7, 10, 13, and 14 from 12:50 - 2:30 pm

  • Eligible grades: K- 5th

  • Location: Basketball courts
