We need YOU for the 2025-26 School Year
As the PFC prepares the budget for the 2025-2026 school year, we plan to support an increase in enrollment in EVERY class at WAE. Over 80% of our PFC budget is used to pay for staff salaries, including Instructional Aids – bridging the gap between public funding and the true cost of our student’s education at WAE.
Currently, we DO NOT have volunteers for our largest fundraiser -Auction Team. These roles are critical to maintaining the staffing at Walnut Acres Elementary School.
We will not be able to enjoy fun community events like the Ice Cream Social, Fall Carnival, or keep the Library operating for each class unless we have parent volunteers in these roles. Please consider co-leading one of these great school community events - our families love attending them each year.

Please review the open positions on the interest form, reach out to any of the current board members with questions using our board directory. Express your interest on this form TODAY! The form will close on Wednesday April 30th. You will be contacted by May 3rd. The 2025-26 board slate will be voted on at General PFC on May 20th.
PFC needs over 60 volunteers on the Board to help fund critical programs and hold fun community activities at our school. YOU are perfect for any of our roles.
