If you are a parent/guardian/caregiver of a student at Walnut Acres, you are already a member of the Walnut Acres PFC! Please join the general meeting TONIGHT at 7:00 PM to hear Principal Berglund talk about the state of the school, learn about upcoming social events, and get updates from teachers about how students are growing in their learning each month!

ICE CREAM SOCIAL

Thursday, August 21st from 5:30pm to 7:30pm

This event is free and open to all students, families, faculty, and staff members.

We’re starting with one of our favorites, just in the Orchard Shopping Center at Jack's Urban Eats. Stop in to grab a meal and support our kids. PLUS - they are donating 20% back to our school!

BE PREPARED! Buy Your Student Food Emergency Kit

Purchase a pre-made food kit from Walnut Acres PFC for $7 via Kostella. Make sure to purchase one for EACH Walnut Acres student in your family. Each pre-made kit contains 4-5 items such as granola/kids nutrition bars, applesauce pouches, dried fruit snacks, etc. Kits will be delivered to classroom teachers by the PFC Emergency Preparedness Committee. While our goal is to provide a NUT-FREE kit, the Walnut Acres PFC cannot guarantee that all items provided in the kit will not contain nuts. If your child has nut allergies, please consider providing your own Emergency Kit in order to ensure an allergen-free kit.

 Join the Drive Thru Line!

Parents, Grandparents & Guardians: Help us in the Drive Thru line as we open doors and greet students arriving at school. Can you help for 15 minutes in the morning, 7:45 - 8:00 am? If so, please sign up here! NO District fingerprinting/volunteer approval needed for this one, so ALL are welcome!

Important Message! Your students’ safety is our utmost concern and do not want their safety endangered. 

• Drive SLOWLY in our Walnut Acres School Zone
• Do NOT use the driveway as a crossing to the school either by bike or foot.
• Observe all “No Parking” signs.
• Have your students exit the car by the passengers side only.

Support the PFC and put a smile on your child's face! For $25.00, the greeting "Happy Birthday (Your Child’s Name)” will be on display on the Walnut Acres electronic Marquee from 7am-9pm on your date of choice. Click HERE to purchase.
Is your child’s birthday during the summer? Consider a “half-birthday” greeting 6 months after their birthday.

The deadline for submitting an order is one week prior to your child's birthday.
