Time to Apply for the Makers Market!
It's time! We invite 4th and 5th-graders to apply to participate in the Walnut Acres Makers Market (everyone is accepted to participate). Apply here.
If your child has any questions or needs help with ideas, we will have a pop-up Q&A booth at 4th & 5th grade recess on Wednesday, November 12th. Or email makersmarket@walnutacrespfc.net
We invite ALL GRADES and their families to come shop at the market on Thursday, December 11th, 4:30-6:30 pm. You will be blown away by the creativity and craftsmanship of these kids. Come support our entrepreneurs and check some gifts off your holiday list while you're there.

The suggested donation for the 2025-2026 school year is $65 per month or a one-time donation of $650, per child.

We are also still looking for someone to join Kristen Corti as the Spirit Wear Co-lead! Be creative in designing our school spirit wear, analyze previous years’ orders to determine what items to offer to meet fundraising goals. Together with the PFC President and the VP of Activities, decide on a design logo for the school with the help of an artist provided by the vendor. Sell spirit wear online and at Walnut Acres Jag Day and Ice Cream Social.

Sign up for Mathnasium, The Math Learning Center.
Mathnasium will donate $10 EVERY MONTH to our PFC for each and every WAE student enrolled in their program. (This is not only for newly enrolled students. It’s for ALL enrolled students from WAE every single month.)
Anyone and everyone can be a great math student, and expert help is right up the road at our local Mathnasium in The Orchards plaza.

Support the PFC and put a smile on your child's face! For $25.00, the greeting "Happy Birthday (Your Child’s Name)” will be on display on the Walnut Acres electronic Marquee from 7am-9pm on your date of choice. Click HERE to purchase.
Is your child’s birthday during the summer? Consider a “half-birthday” greeting 6 months after their birthday.
The deadline for submitting an order is one week prior to your child's birthday.

5th Grade Dedication & Yearbook Cover Contest
5th grade parents: Congratulate your 5th grader and celebrate this milestone with a dedication ad in the yearbook. Please see the attached flier for information and an example of an ad. You can create and purchase the ad at the same site as the yearbook HERE.
We also need our 5th grade artists to submit their artwork for the yearbook cover contest. Artwork must be on an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of paper in vertical (portrait) format, and include the school name (Walnut Acres) and school theme (Wild About Learning). The deadline to submit artwork is 12/19. Submit entries to Yvonne in the office, and make sure the artist's name and teacher is written on the back. Emailed entries are also accepted.
