Thanksgiving Food Drive - November 4-8

Join us to have a successful First Community Donation of the year! We will start with our THANKSGIVING FOOD DRIVE next week, collecting specific items to set up baskets delivered to homeless families in Mt. Diablo School District. Donations will be collected from November 4th to 8th (in front of the main office) and distributed to families on November 20th. Please donate any “Thanksgiving food” items you may have. We will also collect Visa Gift Cards in hopes that families can get a fresh turkey or ham before Thanksgiving Day.

If you have some medium size baskets to donate please let us know. We will also need some help in setting up the baskets. You will receive a sign-up sheet through Konstella.

This year we would like to add some Thanksgiving cards to the baskets. If your child feels like creating a Thanksgiving card to send good wishes to these families, please deposit the card inside the envelope that will be outside of the main office. Our community is supporting low income families from Shore Acres Elementary School.

Questions. Please contact Griselda Oliver or Ana Pedroza  or send an email to communityservice@walnutacrespfc.net

Jag Fund

Have you donated to the Jaguar Fund yet and also submitted for your donation match through your employer?

The Jaguar Fund is the Parent Faculty Club’s primary source of funds to bridge the gap between public funding and the true cost of our children’s education at Walnut Acres.

Anyone that donates will receive a Walnut Acres Adventures Awaits car magnet showing their support!

Our Goal is 100% Participation. Understanding that every family situation is different, the goal of the Jaguar Fund is 100% Participation, regardless of the dollar amount. No amount is too small, and every dollar will make a difference for our school.

The suggested donation for the 2024-2025 school year is $65 per month or a one-time donation of $650, per child.
