Get Ready to WALK & ROLL!
TOMORROW - Wednesday October 1st is Walk and Roll to School Day

2 wheels, 3 wheels, or no wheels! Families are encouraged to walk, bike, or roll to school on October 1st to celebrate healthy habits, reduce traffic, and help the environment. Meet your friends along the way, enjoy some fresh air, and start the day with Jaguar spirit!

Walk & Roll Safety Tips:

• Wear a properly fitted helmet when biking, scootering, or skating.

• Use crosswalks and follow traffic signals.

• Be alert—look left, right, and left again before crossing.

• Walk, bike, or roll with a buddy for extra fun and safety.

See you on the sidewalk! 

Parents - Stay to socialize at a PFC-Sponsored Parent Coffee Hour 8-9am at the front picnic tables!

Carnival Game Wristbands on Sale!
Come One, Come All to the Walnut Acres Fall Carnival on Saturday, October 18th from 4-7 pm.

You can now pre-purchase your unlimited games wristbands for $20 and delight your kids with a fun afternoon of carnival games, food, and friends.

Friends and family are welcome to attend but only people playing the games need a wristband. Kids 3 years old and under play for free.

Wristband Pre-Sale will end on Friday 10/17. Wristbands will also be available for purchase at the entry starting at 4pm on carnival day!

Math Kangaroo - Starting Soon for 1st-5th

Math Kangaroo (www.mathkangaroo.org) is a global nonprofit on a mission to help students love math. The program focuses on improving kids' math skills, teaching new strategies for solving problems, helping with critical thinking and gaining confidence in the classroom. The U.S. National Math Kangaroo contest takes place on March 19th.  Walnut Acres students have an opportunity to register to participate. As in years prior, we plan on offering optional after-school practice sessions.

If you would like to join the Walnut Acres Math Kangaroo community or learn more, please join Math Kangaroo channel in Social Groups on Konstella. This is where all updates, practice session schedules and materials will be posted. We will hold an informational Zoom session on October 2nd, 6pm.
