Hello families of WCMS students participating in the 2025 SF CNY parade!

Please join the San Francisco Chinese New Years Parade Social Group to stay informed about the parade. 

We need volunteers to help on the day of the parade Feb 15th:

1. Family with minivan/van to pick up supplies on 2/14 and bring costumes and supplies to SF on Saturday 2/15  There is a parking permit

2. Parents are not allowed to walk in the parade, teachers will be chaperoning.  We could use 2-3 parents to walk along side the group on the sidewalk behind the barriers to help students if needed, such as to go to bathroom

3. Families are needed to help bring water and/or snacks for students before parade and help organize dinner for teachers

4. Parents are needed to help organize the vests on Sat 2/15 and hand them out and to decorate the wagon.  We would also appreciate parents helping to organize spots to meet to watch the parade.

¡Hola a las familias de los estudiantes de WCMS que participan en el desfile del Año Nuevo Chino de San Francisco 2025!

Únase al grupo social del desfile del Año Nuevo Chino de San Francisco para mantenerse informado sobre el desfile.

Necesitamos voluntarios para ayudar el día del desfile, el 15 de febrero:

1. Familia con minivan/van para recoger los suministros el 14 de febrero y llevar disfraces y suministros a SF el sábado 15 de febrero. Hay un permiso de estacionamiento.

2. Los padres no pueden caminar en el desfile, los maestros estarán acompañando. Podríamos usar 2 o 3 padres para caminar junto al grupo en la acera detrás de las barreras para ayudar a los estudiantes si es necesario, como ir al baño.

3. Se necesitan familias para ayudar a traer agua y/o bocadillos para los estudiantes antes del desfile y ayudar a organizar la cena para los maestros.

4. Se necesitan padres para ayudar a organizar los chalecos el sábado 15 de febrero y entregarlos y decorar el carro. También agradeceríamos que los padres ayudaran a organizar los lugares para reunirse para ver el desfile.

参加 2025 年旧金山农历新年游行的 WCMS 学生家长们，大家好！

请加入旧金山中国新年游行社交群，了解游行的最新情况。

我们需要志愿者在 2 月 15 日游行当天提供帮助：

1. 有小型货车/货车的家庭在 2 月 14 日领取物资，并于 2 月 15 日星期六将服装和物资带到旧金山，有停车许可证

2. 家长不得参加游行，老师将陪同。我们可以安排 2-3 名家长在障碍物后面的人行道上与队伍并肩行走，以在需要时帮助学生，例如去洗手间

3. 需要家长在游行前帮助为学生提供水和/或零食，并帮助为老师安排晚餐

4. 需要家长在 2 月 15 日星期六帮助整理背心并分发，并装饰马车。我们也非常感谢家长帮助组织观看游行的地点。
