1. Sport-a-Thon Fundraising Update
The Sport-a-Thon was a great success! Thank you so much to all of our volunteers and to everyone who has donated to our spring fundraising campaign! We will soon be announcing which classes showed outstanding Sport-a-Thon generosity and earned a class prize! 

2. Sign Up to Help Celebrate Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week! 🍎
Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week is May 4–8, and this is our chance to show gratitude for the amazing people who keep our kids safe, supported, and learning every day. We have several optional, fun ways for families to participate—join in for one day or all week! 

🎉 Friday 5/1 and Saturday 5/2 – School Decoration Day
Sign up to decorate classroom doors and create banners to surprise our teachers and staff. 

🍪 Wednesday 5/6 – It’s Such a Treat to Have You as Our Teachers!
We’re hosting an Appreciation Luncheon.
Please sign up to bring an item or help with set-up and clean-up.

3. WCMS Summer Program - Interest Form
WCMS is planning to offer the Summer Mandarin Enrichment Program again this summer with partner Love Learn Success. The program is expected to be fee-based due to the lack of district funding at this time. If you are interested, please complete the interest form:

Location: Stewart Elementary School (Pinole)
(Location change due to campus moves at PMS and the new WCMS campus.)

4. Join the Campus Transition Team
We’re inviting families to join the Campus Transition Team to help support the move of WCMS Elementary to the Betty Reid Soskin site. This group will provide parent input and feedback to Dr. Peterson and the district, help share information with the community, and support advocacy and grant opportunities. (This is an advisory group, not a decision-making body.) The team-only walkthrough of the Soskin campus has been scheduled to Wednesday, April 29. 5. Save the Date: Fifth General PTA Meeting - Thursday, 5/21
Our fifth PTA General Meeting is coming up on Thursday, May 21, starting at 6 PM on Zoom (link to be posted on Konstella). Plan on joining for updates on our Spring Fundraising Campaign, budget, upcoming events, and more. We will also be reviewing and voting on proposed amendments to the bylaws. Your voices are vital to the strength of our school community, so please join us!

2. ¡Inscríbete para celebrar la Semana de Agradecimiento a Maestros y Personal! 🍎
La Semana de Agradecimiento a Maestros y Personal es del 4 al 8 de mayo , y esta es nuestra oportunidad para mostrar nuestra gratitud a las personas increíbles que mantienen a nuestros hijos seguros, apoyados y aprendiendo cada día.  Tenemos varias opciones divertidas para que las familias participen : ¡únete un día o toda la semana! 

🎉 Viernes 1 y sábado 2 de mayo: Día de decoración escolar.
Inscríbase para decorar las puertas de las aulas y crear pancartas para sorprender a nuestros profesores y personal.

3. Programa de Verano de WCMS - Formulario de Interés
WCMS planea ofrecer nuevamente el Programa de Enriquecimiento de Mandarín de Verano este verano con su socio Love Learn Success. Se espera que el programa sea de pago debido a la falta de fondos del distrito en este momento. Si está interesado, complete el formulario de interés:

4. Únase al Equipo de Transición del Campus
Invitamos a las familias a unirse al Equipo de Transición del Campus para ayudar a apoyar el traslado de la Escuela Primaria WCMS al sitio Betty Reid Soskin. 3. WCMS暑期项目 - 意向表
