The PTA will step in, to the extent resources from donations allow, to lessen the impact of next year's District budget cuts.
As background, last week, many parents attended an overview on Zoom of:
(1) how the District budget cuts - expected to include elimination of 3 of our half-time personnel and yard supervision reduction, among others - may affect the school and
(2) how our PTA budget can (or, maybe cannot, without strong family donation support) fill in funding gaps. Please see presentation here to stay informed.
Fundraiser Update
Quick update! We are more than 66% to our $95K goal - generous families have donated more than $63K for PTA programming! Only *gulp * $32K left to hit the goal.
I’ll allocate to each classroom all the PayPal and other, non-Cheddar Up donations soon.
Next week, we’ll announce which classes showed outstanding Sport-a-Thon generosity and earned a class prize!
