The Spring Sport-a-Thon is Thursday, April 16 at the Pinole campus and Friday, April 17 at the Soskin campus. This is the second and final schoolwide, PTA fundraiser for the year. It's also a chance to practice healthy habits schoolwide and in your home!
Fundraiser Update
Thank you families, we have achieved about 28% of our aim for this fundraiser - $26K of the $95K goal! To be honest though, I am starting to get a bit worried. We're only at 28% of the goal with less than a week to go! It would be fantastic to finish this last PTA fundraiser of the year in a strong position. That way, we can enter our budgeting period to plan for spending over the summer and early in the new school year at our new, consolidated campus. 🏃 Healthy Tip – Disrupted Sleep Schedule after Break?
It may be a bit hard for your student (and maybe you!) to get back into the school schedule after the break. Consider laying out clothing, backpacks, and high-protein snacks tonight, to relieve pressure on the first-morning back routine. And tomorrow morning, get some light on your student to help them wake up and get their blood pumping in the morning with light activities like jumping jacks, lunges, and squats!

Wow, Eagle Class (K) has pulled ahead with 45 donations, though Dolphin Class (2nd) is still close behind, with 32 donations so far. The classes with the highest number of donations will win a party! El *Sport-a-Thon* de primavera se llevará a cabo el jueves 16 de abril en el campus de Pinole y el viernes 17 de abril en el campus de Soskin. Considere dejar preparada esta noche la ropa, las mochilas y algunos refrigerios ricos en proteínas, para aliviar la presión de la rutina de la primera mañana de regreso a clases. Y mañana por la mañana, ¡asegúrese de que su estudiante reciba algo de luz para ayudarle a despertar y activar la circulación con actividades ligeras como saltos de tijera, zancadas y sentadillas!

🏃 **健康小贴士：假期过后，睡眠作息被打乱了怎么办？**对于您的孩子（也许也包括您！）而言，在假期结束后重新适应学校的作息节奏可能会有些困难。不妨今晚就提前把衣物、书包和高蛋白零食准备妥当，以此减轻返校首日早晨的忙乱与压力。此外，明天一早请让孩子接触一些光线以帮助其清醒；随后，可以通过开合跳、弓步蹲和深蹲等轻度运动来活动筋骨、唤醒身体活力！
