**Morning Drop-off**
New Procedure for TK/K students Only: TK/K students will be received by staff at the fenced TK/K playground accessed from the school gate on Salida Way between 7:45-8:15am. Parents enter the through the gate and follow the walkway to the playground. Please immediately exit the gate to Salida Way after dropping off your students at the playground.
**Afternoon Pick Up**
New Procedure for TK/K students Only: TK/K: Students will be waiting for pick-up inside the fence of the playground accessed from the gate at the side of the school on Salida Way. Please immediately exit the gate to Salida Way after picking up your students at the playground.
Regular Morning drop off/pick up procedures (after first day):
- Children not in morning care may be dropped off between 7:45am - 8:15am only.
- If you are late in the morning, you must take your child to the school office.
- We ask that parents have their students’ names and class visible on a paper sign for staff to see during pick-up time. (Sample)
TK/K
- TK and Kindergarten students are dropped off at the TK/K Student Entrance at the side of the school on Salida Way.
- Briefly park on Salida Way (do not park on Loma Linda Ave or Allview Ave) to let your student out and walk your student to the TK/K entrance gate.
- Students will be escorted by staff or volunteers to the TK/K playground. At 8:15 am their teachers will escort them from the playground to their classroom.
- Please create a morning routine with your child and clearly explain the drop-off procedures to them so they know what to expect each morning.
- Older siblings may be dropped off/picked up with their TK/Kindergarten sibling.
- For afternoon pick up, parents pick up at the side gate on Salida Way and walk to the TK/Kindergarten to pick up their students.
Grades 1- 8
- 1st-8th grade students are dropped off/picked up at the front of the school on Loma Linda Ave.
- The AC transit stop (Jovita Lane) is ONLY for AC transit buses; no personal cars (and this is non-negotiable)
○ Foot traffic is allowed, and parents may choose to give older students permission to walk on or off campus from that direction - Please refrain from parking on Allview Ave. and Loma Linda Ave.
