WCMS has once again been selected to participate in the world famous SF Chinese New Year Parade! The Parade is during the late afternoon to early evening of Saturday, February 15th, 2025 in SF Chinatown.
If you would like your child to participate in the parade, the deadline to register is Friday, December 13th. There are 50 total spots available for students in grades K-7, and it is first-come, first-served. (Due to the demands of practice sessions and learning choreography, participation is not available for TK students at this time–thank you for your understanding!) If your student is selected, they must participate in practices during lunch time or after school in January and February. You will be emailed if your student is selected to participate or is on the waiting list.

This is a great honor and recognition of our school for us to be invited to participate once again in this exciting event. The parade is televised nationally and internationally, and is the largest Lunar New Year Parade outside of Asia!
