Dear WCMS Kindergarten Parents and Guardians:
Please take a look at these guidelines to prepare for your student’s Kindergarten Promotion and Celebration on Wednesday, June 11th.
🏫 All Kindergarten students must be dropped off at the Kindergarten entrance by 8:15am.
👕Dress Code: Students can wear their dark blue tops and khaki bottoms. Or they can wear a formal outfit. No caps or gowns.
🚗 Parking: Please locate a parking spot in the neighborhood streets/blocks. Please DO NOT park inside the school campus across the black gate or inside the basketball courts. Please DO NOT park inside the adjacent businesse lots or block driveways and wheelchair access areas. Let’s respect our neighbors, and use protected crosswalks to stay safe at all times.
🏟️ Event Location: Our ceremony will be held inside the Pinole Middle School gymnasium. Please enter the gymnasium through the opened gates of the basketball court areas facing the PMS campus.
⌚️Event Time: Doors to the gymnasium will open at approximately 9am to allow all set up volunteers to prepare the gymnasium between 7:30-9am.
📝 SIGN IN and SIGN OUT REQUIRED: Upon arrival, please stop to sign in at the visitor log. The sign in table will be at the entrance to the gymnasium. All students leaving the school at the conclusion of the event, must be signed out if they will not stay at school until 12 (noon). Please sign out at the table before leaving the school.
📣 Please DO NOT bring loud horns or noise makers. Some of our students and guests are highly sensitive to amplified sound.
🌸Our event will be decorated with paper flowers which students can take with them at the conclusion of the event. No oversized balloons will be used or allowed to allow the audience to have photo access and a clear view of the students on risers.
🥳 Reception: Everyone is invited to join us in the Kindergarten playground after the ceremony to enjoy additional photo opportunities, light refreshments, and playtime. Thank you parents, PTA members, and our local Sprouts,, Trader Joe’s, Costco, Luckys, and Safeway stores for your generous donations.
🐼 Volunteers NEEDED: Please access Konstella sign ups to view volunteer needs and sign up for the event. Our organizing community is in need of volunteers from start to finish. No experience is necessary. This is a community wide effort and all help is appreciated before and after the event.

📸 Videographer/Photographer Volunteers: All historian volunteers for the event will have reserved seating in the front row. Please upload your video & photo files via the shared Google doc link at the conclusion of the event. Thank you for helping us document this special milestone for our students & community. Extended family & friends who cannot attend the event will appreciate the keepsakes. Please sign up on Konstella and plan to arrive early to set up your equipment accordingly.
