The Spring Sport-a-Thon is Thursday, April 16 at the Pinole campus and Friday, April 17 at the Soskin campus.  This is the second and final schoolwide, PTA fundraiser for the year.  It's also a chance to practice healthy habits schoolwide and in your home! 

Fundraiser Update

Wow, Dolphin class (2nd grade) is leading the way with +22 donations so far.  The classes with the highest number of donations will win a party!   There is plenty of time for others to catch up though, find and share your student's donation page with friends and family, here.   We have raised more than $7,000 of our $95,000 goal so far, thank so much families! 

🏃 Healthy Tip

Use Playgrounds as Outdoor Gyms while your kids climb and swing, you can sneak in some movement too: Step-ups on a bench, Incline push-ups on a railing, Squats or walking lunges on the grass. It’s not about perfection—it’s about building fitness habits.

🏃 Consejo saludable

Utiliza los parques infantiles como gimnasios al aire libre: mientras tus hijos trepan y se columpian, tú también puedes aprovechar para hacer algo de ejercicio. Prueba con subidas al banco (*step-ups*), flexiones inclinadas apoyándote en una barandilla, sentadillas o zancadas caminando sobre el césped. No se trata de buscar la perfección, sino de crear hábitos de actividad física.

🏃 健康小贴士

把游乐场当作户外健身房吧！当孩子们忙着攀爬和荡秋千时，你也可以趁机做些运动：在长椅上做登阶练习，在栏杆上做斜板俯卧撑，或者在草地上做深蹲或弓步走。健身不在于追求完美，而在于养成良好的运动习惯。
