The Spring Sport-a-Thon is Thursday, April 16 at the Pinole campus and Friday, April 17 at the Soskin campus.  This is the second and final schoolwide, PTA fundraiser for the year.  It's also a chance to practice healthy habits schoolwide and in your home! 

Fundraiser Update

Wow, Eagle Class (K) has tied Dolphin Class (2nd) for number of donations, with 29 donations so far.  The classes with the highest number of donations will win a party!   There is plenty of time for others to catch up though, find and share your student's donation page with friends and family, here.   We have raised almost $15,000 of our $95,000 goal so far, thank so much families! 

🏃 Healthy Tip

Try Backyard (or living room) Circuits. You don’t need a gym to move your body. Pick 4–5 bodyweight exercises (like squats, star jumps, lunges, planks), and turn it into a game with your kids. Set a timer for 30 seconds on, 30 seconds off. Let them pick the “next move” to keep them engaged.

El *Sport-a-Thon* de Primavera se llevará a cabo el jueves 16 de abril en el campus de Pinole y el viernes 17 de abril en el campus de Soskin. Sin embargo, ¡aún queda mucho tiempo para que las demás clases se pongan al día! Encuentren y compartan la página de donaciones de su estudiante con amigos y familiares haciendo clic aquí. 🏃 Consejo saludable

Prueba los circuitos de ejercicios en el patio trasero (o en la sala de estar). No necesitas un gimnasio para poner tu cuerpo en movimiento. Elige 4 o 5 ejercicios con peso corporal (como sentadillas, saltos de estrella, zancadas o planchas) y conviértelo en un juego con tus hijos. Configura un temporizador para alternar 30 segundos de actividad y 30 segundos de descanso. Permíteles elegir el "siguiente movimiento" para mantenerlos motivados.

🏃 健康小贴士

尝试在后院（或客厅）进行循环训练。想要活动身体，并不一定非要去健身房。挑选4到5个徒手自重训练动作（例如深蹲、开合跳、弓步、平板支撑），并将其变成一个与孩子们同乐的游戏。设定一个计时器，节奏为“运动30秒，休息30秒”。让孩子们轮流挑选“下一个动作”，以此保持他们的参与热情。
