Dear WCMS Families,
I wanted to pass along some recent information from United Teachers of Richmond about the upcoming strike. Here is a site you can go to for current information with the links to social media-hopefully this is helpful as most of the information that is going out is very one sided, as only the district is allowed to share information on ParentSquare. I've also added our recent flyers since we haven't had time to pass out flyers in front of the school during conferences. Additionally, there are two meetings this week specifically for parents and community members, on 11/18 and 11/20-please see the flyer for details.
Although it looks extremely likely that the strike will happen soon, I want to reiterate that the strike is directed at the district and that our WCMS teachers are not fighting with our school or our school administration. We LOVE WCMS and feel that the things we are fighting for will make our school even stronger!
