Please note that the date/time and location of the Lunar New Year Concert has been changed to January 30 at 7pm at the Korematsu Middle School Auditorium in El Cerrito. Students need to arrive no later than 6:45pm. The purpose of this change of location is to be able to have one combined community event where families can watch the performances of all students.  It is common in our District to have student performances in the evening; however, we understand that having performances at this time can create challenges for some families. We greatly appreciate your accommodating this change. In the future, we plan to vary the locations of performances when evening performances are necessary. A PTA dine-out fundraiser is also being held on January 30 at the Panda Express in El Cerrito. Families are invited to purchase dinner at Panda Express in El Cerrito before the performance. A portion of the proceeds from meals purchased by families and friends at the Panda Express fundraiser will be donated to the WCMS PTA to help support our WCMS student programs.
