Hello WCMS Families
Our school has been given the honor of participating in the San Francisco Chinese New Years Parade (Year of Tiger) on Saturday, Feb 19th. We have 50 students who will march in the parade for our school, and the sign ups are currently full and families have been notified if their student will be participating.
The students will be learning choreography for a fan dance and lion dancing from Ni Laoshi and the teachers. The teachers will need help gathering the students and teaching them the dance. We are hoping for volunteers who can commit to coming on a regular basis for SIX weeks so that they can help to learn and teach the dance if possible.
The Kindergarden/1st grade participants will be practicing out on the field during lunchtime (11 - 11:20 am) on Tuesdays/Thursdays.
We are monitoring the covid situation, but hoping to start practices this week.

Hola familias de WCMS
Nuestra escuela ha tenido el honor de participar en el Desfile del Año Nuevo Chino de San Francisco (Año del Tigre) el sábado 19 de febrero. Tenemos 50 estudiantes que marcharán en el desfile de nuestra escuela, y actualmente las inscripciones están llenas.
Los estudiantes aprenderán la coreografía de Ni Laoshi y los maestros para un baile de abanicos y un baile de leones. Los maestros necesitarán ayuda para reunir a los estudiantes y enseñarles el baile. Esperamos voluntarios que puedan comprometerse a venir regularmente durante SEIS semanas para que puedan ayudar a aprender y enseñar el baile si es posible.
Los participantes de Kindergarten/1er grado estarán practicando en el campo durante la hora del almuerzo (11 - 11:20 am) los martes y jueves.
Estamos monitoreando la situación del covid, pero esperamos comenzar las prácticas la próxima semana.

我校荣幸地参加了 2 月 19 日星期六的旧金山中国新年游行（虎年）。 我们有50名学生将参加我们学校的游行，目前报名已满。
学生们将向倪老师和老师们学习扇子舞和舞狮的编舞。 老师们需要帮助召集学生并教他们跳舞。 我们希望志愿者能够承诺在六周内定期参加，以便他们尽可能帮助学习和教授舞蹈。
幼儿园/一年级的参与者将在周二/周四的午餐时间（上午 11 点至 11 点 20 分）在球场上练习。
