Hi WCMS families,

The annual Mid-Autumn Festival will fall on September 10, 2022 but our school will be celebrating with the students on Friday September 9, 2022.

The main highlight of this celebration will be the tasting of mooncakes for the students! Mooncake is a delicacy that is consumed during the Mid-Autumn Festival.

We are asking for 2 families from each class to volunteer to bring mooncakes for the students to share. The mooncakes will have to be peanut-free and ideally at least 2 boxes (4 mooncakes in each box) for each class. Families should buy what they can or have the option to split costs with other families in the class.  Volunteers can feel free to also bring special mooncakes like vegan or dairy-free based on the dietary restrictions of the students in class, please check with your room parents or teachers. 

Please sign up in the sign up sheet below for your class and drop them off by this Friday morning 9/9.  We thank you for making this a wonderful celebration for the students.

El Festival anual del Medio Otoño se llevará a cabo el 10 de septiembre de 2022, pero nuestra escuela lo celebrará con los estudiantes el viernes 9 de septiembre de 2022.

¡Lo más destacado de esta celebración será la degustación de pasteles de luna para los estudiantes! Mooncake es un manjar que se consume durante el Festival del Medio Otoño.

Estamos pidiendo que 2 familias de cada clase se ofrezcan como voluntarias para traer pasteles de luna para que los estudiantes los compartan. Los pasteles de luna tendrán que ser libres de maní e idealmente por lo menos 2 cajas (4 pasteles de luna en cada caja) por voluntario. Los voluntarios pueden sentirse libres de traer también pasteles de luna especiales como veganos o sin lácteos según las restricciones dietéticas de los estudiantes en clase, consulte con los padres o maestros de su salón.

Regístrese en la hoja de registro a continuación para su clase y déjelos antes de este viernes 9/9 por la mañana. Les agradecemos por hacer de esta una celebración maravillosa para los estudiantes.

一年一度的中秋节将于 2022 年 9 月 10 日举行，但我们学校将于 2022 年 9 月 9 日星期五与学生一起庆祝。

本次庆祝活动的重头戏是为学生们品尝月饼！ 月饼是中秋节期间食用的美食。

我们要求每个班级的2个家庭自愿带月饼给学生分享。 月饼必须不含花生，最好是每位志愿者至少 2 盒（每盒 4 个月饼）。 义工也可以根据课堂上学生的饮食限制，随意带上特别的月饼，如纯素月饼或无奶月饼，请与您的房间家长或老师确认。

请在下面的报名表中为您的班级报名，并在本周五上午 9 月 9 日之前将其送走。 我们感谢您为学生们举办了一场精彩的庆祝活动。
